Benson Park Trail to Bilby Nature Loop-

Benson Park Trail starts at Moose Eco-Lodge for 1km to the Bilby Nature Loop, which is a 4km easy trail for all and animals. Here you can enjoy geocaching, birdwatching, horse back riding, and more. 

The Natural Region description pf Bilby Natural Area is as follows: 

"Upland aspen-balsam forest with rose and beaked hazelnut shrubs cover most of this site. Small depressional areas contain willow wetland and black spruce peatland. Grassy meadows and occasional stands of mature white spruce are also present".

Moose Eco-Lodge is located in the green natural area block indicated on the map; by the smaller body of water. This is the pond that is home to loons, mergansers, geese, and more.
